Record 01
An image with somewhere to go
Zelda Wiki’s unused-content record identifies a fountain with a unicorn-head statue in pre-release material. It also identifies “Unicorn Fountain” as a fan-created name and distinguishes the location from content in the completed game.
That distinction leaves two separate subjects: what was visible during development, and what a player can reach in a retail copy. An early screenshot can document the first without proving the second. It also cannot, on its own, explain why a feature changed or disappeared.

How the wall acquired a story
A 2011 Zelda Dungeon forum thread preserves people discussing an alleged entrance around Zora’s Domain and a supposed sword-related reward. We cite that conversation as evidence that the rumour circulated, not as evidence that its route or reward existed.
The uncertainty is part of the historical texture. Different versions of a story can attach different prizes to the same unseen room. Combining all of them into one confident explanation would create a new claim, not recover an old fact.

A boundary worth keeping
The documented pre-release image is interesting without a fabricated solution attached. A fan reconstruction can be interesting too, if it says what it is. Our dossier does not claim a verified secret access method, a confirmed development purpose or a confirmed appearance in the new Switch 2 game.
Perhaps the lasting appeal is the thought that one familiar landscape could still contain an unfamiliar place. That is our interpretation of the legend’s pull. The archive keeps that question alive as a story while making the practical answer clear for anyone holding a controller.
