01

Great Sky Island

0 / 3 steps

Open the Temple of Time.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Complete the first three shrines to learn Ultrahand, Fuse and Ascend. Use those abilities to build crossings, combine weapons and climb through solid ceilings.

  2. Return to the Temple of Time for Recall, then reach the fourth shrine. Reversing the waterwheels opens the route that was previously inaccessible.

  3. Exchange four Lights of Blessing for a Heart Container and open the large door. Follow the final sky-island path before diving into the water below.

A useful detail

Cook spicy food before entering the island's snowy area.

02

Lookout Landing

0 / 3 steps

Obtain the Paraglider.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Meet Purah at Lookout Landing and report to Hoz near the castle's First Gatehouse. Return to unlock the tower and receive the Paraglider.

  2. Use towers and nearby shrines to establish travel points. Accept the Regional Phenomena investigation and gather clothing and food for the first destination.

  3. Follow Robbie's Depths expedition for the Camera. Bring Brightbloom Seeds and mark a route between Lightroots so the first underground trip remains manageable.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

The shelter provides a free bed and cooking pot.

03

Tulin and the Wind Temple

0 / 3 steps

Reach the storm above Hebra.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Help Tulin recover his bow, then follow the rising island chain. Use his gust only when it carries you toward a reachable platform or bounce sail.

  2. Inside the Wind Temple, open all five turbine locks. Explore the ship's sides and lower passages; some mechanisms need an Ultrahand repair before Tulin can power them.

  3. Break Colgera's icy weak points by diving through exposed plates or shooting from below. Keep enough distance to read its reappearance and avoid the tornadoes.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Bring two levels of cold resistance for the highest areas.

04

Yunobo and the Fire Temple

0 / 3 steps

Trace the marbled rock roast.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Break Yunobo's mask and follow him up Death Mountain. Use the supplied flying vehicle and Yunobo's charge against the crater's rock heads.

  2. Descend into the chasm and follow the statue route toward the Fire Temple. Switch minecart rails and use ramps to launch Yunobo into each of the five gongs.

  3. Break Marbled Gohma's legs with Yunobo to expose the eye. In the ceiling phase, send Yunobo up the curved walls, then climb onto the fallen boss and attack.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Use flame protection inside burning caves and the temple.

05

Sidon and the Water Temple

0 / 3 steps

Remove the sludge.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Restore the Zora Armor and investigate Toto's broken slate. Find King Dorephan, then shoot a King's Scale through the droplet-shaped formation seen from the floating fish island.

  2. Clear the blocked pipes in the Ancient Zora Waterworks and climb the waterfall to Wellspring Island. In the Water Temple, operate four faucets using Sidon's water ability.

  3. Wash away Mucktorok's sludge shark with water attacks. Chase and strike the exposed creature; clear sludge patches when they prevent you from moving safely.

Chapter references

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Splash Fruit also clears sludge.

06

Riju and the Lightning Temple

0 / 3 steps

End the sand shroud.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Help Riju defend Kara Kara Bazaar and Gerudo Town. Follow the mural's pillar alignment clue to reveal the temple, then survive Queen Gibdo's first attack.

  2. Inside the temple, follow light beams and rotate or move mirrors to expose the four battery rooms. Stand near Riju and fire an arrow at each target to charge it with lightning.

  3. Use lightning or another effective element to weaken Queen Gibdo before attacking. Destroy the nests when their cores are exposed and use the resulting light to manage the smaller Gibdos.

Chapter references

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Elemental attacks make Gibdos vulnerable to ordinary weapons.

07

A false princess

0 / 3 steps

Resolve the castle sightings.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. After the four regional quests, report to Purah. Follow the princess sightings through the floating castle in the order shown by the investigation.

  2. Refill between ambushes and keep a route back to a safe ledge. The sightings move between different floors, so read the vertical position on the map.

  3. Fight the Phantom Ganon group in the Sanctum with the sages' help. Avoid gloom-covered ground and return to Lookout Landing afterwards for the next lead.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Keep space between yourself and grouped enemies rather than trading hits inside gloom.

08

The fifth sage

0 / 3 steps

Build Mineru's body.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Investigate the Ring Ruins and follow Tauro to Dracozu. Complete the Charged Armor ritual, then cross Thunderhead Isles to Dragonhead Island.

  2. Open the door with ten hearts and carry Mineru's mask along its indicated route. Deliver all four depot limbs to the Construct Factory and assemble the body.

  3. Ride Mineru to the Spirit Temple. Block the Seized Construct's attacks, stagger it with consecutive hits and push it into the electrified boundary.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Clearing Thunderhead's storm makes navigation easier.

09

Recover the hero's sword

0 / 3 steps

Prepare for the final descent.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Investigate the geoglyphs and the Great Deku Tree's problem for the sword's whereabouts. The tree can provide a moving quest marker for the Light Dragon.

  2. Reach the dragon from a high launch point and land near its head. Drawing the sword requires two complete permanent stamina wheels, not temporary yellow stamina.

  3. Before the final descent, prepare strong fused weapons, arrows, healing and meals that restore gloom-damaged hearts. Temporary maximum-heart loss needs the appropriate recovery.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Geoglyph memories reveal major story answers; their viewing order affects when you learn them.

10

Beneath Hyrule Castle

0 / 3 steps

Defeat Ganondorf.

Route and puzzle solutions

  1. Descend below Hyrule Castle through the underground route and face the monster army. Keep supplies for the Demon King rather than spending everything on earlier enemies.

  2. Ganondorf can dodge your attacks. Read his follow-up and counter that opening instead of repeating the same strike immediately.

  3. In the airborne finale, use the Light Dragon to regain height. Destroy the vulnerable growths on the Demon Dragon's back, then attack the stone on its head.

Checkpoints

A useful detail

Cook before descending; gloom removes usable hearts.

Collection field guide

Plan your final discoveries.

Use these routes alongside the edition-specific counters. The references link to individual locations and additional maps.

Surface, sky and Depths completion

  1. Work by region and by layer. Surface shrines correspond horizontally with Depths Lightroots, while sky shrines require their own island routes.

  2. Check caves for Bubbulfrogs and record each cave entrance separately when auditing map completion. Wells have their own quest total and should not be mixed into the cave count.

  3. Use the interactive map and objective counters for shrines, Lightroots and Koroks. The post-ending map percentage does not certify every quest, armour upgrade or Compendium photograph.

Chapter references

Side adventures and equipment

  1. Support Addison's signs with stable Ultrahand constructions, then speak to him before dismantling the support. Record the reward only after the sign is successfully secured.

  2. Complete regional side adventures and the Great Fairy musician chain to unlock armour improvements. Save rare upgrade materials instead of selling every monster part.

  3. Treat Coliseum rewards, stable rewards, fabrics and armour collections as separate goals. Use their location lists to plan targeted returns rather than wandering through cleared regions.
