01
The child of the forest
0 / 3 steps+
Earn the Kokiri Emerald.
Route and puzzle solutions
01
Find the Kokiri Sword in the crawlspace training area and buy the Deku Shield. Equip both before asking Mido to let you pass.
02
Inside the Deku Tree, obtain the Slingshot and clear the climbing wall's spiders. Break the central web by falling from sufficient height, then use burning sticks on later webs.
03
Deflect the Deku Scrubs' nuts in the required order. Stun Gohma's red eye with the Slingshot and attack before it recovers or climbs away.
Deku Sticks carry flame between torches and burn webs.
02
Zelda and the remaining stones
0 / 3 steps+
Open the way to the Temple of Time.
Route and puzzle solutions
01
Meet Zelda, learn Saria's Song and play it for Darunia. In Dodongo's Cavern, use bomb flowers to open routes and drop bombs into the giant skull's eyes.
02
Feed King Dodongo a bomb while he inhales, slash him while stunned and move aside as he rolls. Collect the second Spiritual Stone before heading to Zora's River.
03
Win the diving game, recover Ruto's letter in Lake Hylia and show it to King Zora. Offer a bottled fish to Jabu-Jabu; carry Ruto through the dungeon and use the Boomerang on its tentacles and Barinade's protection.
The letter is underwater in Lake Hylia; the Silver Scale helps you reach it.
03
Seven years later
0 / 3 steps+
Awaken the forest and fire sages.
Route and puzzle solutions
01
Return to the Temple of Time with all three stones, play the Song of Time and draw the Master Sword. As an adult, race Dampé in the graveyard to obtain the Hookshot.
02
In the Forest Temple, collect the Bow and recover the four Poe flames. Watch the paintings for Phantom Ganon's real approach, then return his energy volleys.
03
In the Fire Temple, free the Gorons for keys and obtain the Megaton Hammer. Strike Volvagia when its head emerges, then attack the exposed weak point while avoiding falling rocks.
Completing the Forest Temple unlocks returning to childhood through the Master Sword.
04
Water and shadow
0 / 3 steps+
Restore Lake Hylia and enter the royal tomb.
Route and puzzle solutions
01
Use bottled Blue Fire in the Ice Cavern and obtain the Iron Boots. Enter the Water Temple, track the three water levels and check beneath the central tower's floating block.
02
Defeat Dark Link and obtain the Longshot. Hook Morpha's nucleus out of its water tentacle, then strike from a corner between the spike panels, out of reach of the tentacle.
03
As a child, play the Song of Storms in the windmill and explore the drained well for the Lens of Truth. As an adult, open the Shadow Temple with Din's Fire, use the Hover Boots and stun Bongo Bongo's hands before shooting its eye.
Watch the space under the central Water Temple platform when it rises.
05
Across the desert
0 / 3 steps+
Awaken the final sage.
Route and puzzle solutions
01
Rescue the carpenters in Gerudo Fortress and cross the Haunted Wasteland using the Lens of Truth's guide. Learn the Requiem of Spirit outside the temple.
02
Return as a child and complete Nabooru's route for the Silver Gauntlets. Come back as an adult to move the large block and explore the other half.
03
Use the Mirror Shield to direct light and reflect each witch's attack into her sister. Against Twinrova, absorb three attacks of the same element before releasing the stored energy.
The Spirit Temple intentionally requires both ages; do not try to force the child crawlspace as an adult.
06
The last climb
0 / 3 steps+
Rescue Zelda and defeat Ganon.
Route and puzzle solutions
01
Finish the six barrier trials inside Ganon's Castle, collecting the Golden Gauntlets on the way. Refill magic and healing before the tower ascent.
02
Return Ganondorf's energy ball, shoot a Light Arrow when he is stunned and cross to attack. Follow Zelda through the escape without leaving her behind at blocked doors.
03
Against Ganon, evade the swords and attack the tail. Recover the Master Sword when the flames allow it, then finish the battle with it.
Refill magic, arrows, and bottles before entering the final tower.

Skulltulas, hearts and the two ages
01
Search each region as both child and adult. Some Skulltulas appear only at night; soft-soil rewards require bottled bugs rather than simply planting a bean.
02
Record a Skulltula only after collecting its token. A defeated spider whose token remains out of reach has not advanced the counter.
03
Use the heart and bottle lists to combine nearby rewards with the right age, song and equipment. Return to the Skulltula House for each earned reward tier.
Complete the child mask trades in order and pay the shopkeeper before borrowing the next mask. The adult trading chain is separate and ends with Biggoron's Sword.
02
For timed adult deliveries, plan the route before accepting the perishable item. Avoid warp songs that spoil the delivery.
03
Earn Epona, finish the archery and fishing rewards, and check capacity upgrades. Master Quest uses different dungeon layouts and Skulltula placements, so use a dedicated layout reference for that mode.
Alternate childhood and adulthood sweeps; several rewards require actions in both eras.
